We are thrilled to announce the recent success of two dedicated individuals, Imran and Bradley, who passed their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) 3a tests at MT Training’s Newbury Training Centre last week. This achievement is a testament to their commitment to professional development and the high-quality training provided by our experienced HGV driving instructor team.
The Driver CPC 3a test, focusing on off-road exercises, is a crucial step for any driver aspiring to obtain their HGV/LGV or bus driving licence. Before booking the Driver CPC 3a test, candidates must have successfully passed the Driver CPC Part 1 theory test, showcasing their theoretical knowledge in areas relevant to professional driving.
The 3a test, which lasts up to 30 minutes, includes essential maneuvers such as:
- An ‘S’ shaped reverse into a bay, demonstrating precise control and spatial awareness.
- Showing the uncoupling and recoupling procedure if taking the test with a trailer, emphasizing safety and procedural expertise.
Imran and Bradley’s success in navigating these challenging exercises highlights their proficiency in off-road driving and their ability to execute critical maneuvers required in their professional roles.
At MT Training’s Newbury Training Centre, we take pride in providing comprehensive training programs designed to prepare candidates for the Driver CPC 3a and 3b tests. Our experienced instructors guide candidates through the necessary skills and knowledge, ensuring they are fully prepared for both off-road exercises and on-road assessments.
