We are thrilled to congratulate Allen on passing his D1 3B test today in Exeter! As a specialist driver training instructor at MT Training Services, I had the pleasure of working with Allen throughout his training journey, and it has been an honour to witness his progress and growth as a driver.
At MT Training Services, we understand the importance of having a category D1 driving licence, especially for those who are required to drive minibuses as part of their work. That’s why we offer a full Minibus training course to help candidates prepare for the DSA’s category D1 and D1+E driving tests, as well as providing the MIDAS training for vocational drivers.
Prior to 1997, category B licence holders could acquire the D1 rights with a 101 exemption, which meant that they could drive a minibus as long as they were not being paid for it. However, drivers who passed their driving test after this date do not hold the D1 entitlement at all. For those drivers who have the 101 exemption, we recommend that they take the MIDAS course to familiarise themselves with minibus driving and passenger safety.
At MT Training Services, we offer comprehensive training that prepares drivers for success on their tests, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge necessary to become safe and responsible drivers. Our experienced instructors work closely with our clients to tailor training to their specific needs, whether they are new drivers or experienced drivers looking to refresh their skills.
Allen’s success is a testament to the quality of our training and the dedication of our instructors. We understand that minibus training is a significant investment, both in terms of time and money, which is why we take pride in our ability to provide effective training that prepares drivers for success on their tests.
If you are interested in minibus driver training, please don’t hesitate to contact us to discuss your requirements. We offer comprehensive training that prepares drivers for success on their tests, as well as providing the MIDAS training for vocational drivers. Congratulations once again to Allen on his success, and we wish him all the best in his future career as a minibus driver!
