The Driver CPC Module 4, also known as the ‘Demonstration Test,’ is the practical component of the Driver CPC Initial Qualification. Passing this module is a crucial step towards becoming a professional HGV/LGV driver. If you aspire to drive a lorry, bus, or coach professionally for a living, obtaining the Driver CPC, including passing the Driver CPC Part 4, is a mandatory requirement.
To be eligible for the Driver CPC Part 4, candidates must have already passed Module 2, the Case Studies Theory Test. This practical test evaluates the candidate’s knowledge and ability in various essential areas, including:
- Ability to load the vehicle with due regard for safety rules and proper vehicle use
- Security of the vehicle and its contents
- Ability to prevent criminality and trafficking in illegal immigrants
- Ability to assess emergency situations
- Ability to prevent physical risk
To successfully pass the Driver CPC Module 4, candidates must score 15 out of a possible 20 points in each topic area (75%) and achieve an overall score of 80%.
The term ‘Driver CPC’ stands for ‘Certificate of Professional Competence,’ a qualification introduced in 2008 as part of an EU directive to enhance road safety and uphold standards of professional driving.
We extend our hearty congratulations to Aleksander, Abel, Mohammed, N’aam, Havinder, Umar, Antoine, Conner, and Brandon for their outstanding success in the Driver CPC Module 4 tests. This accomplishment is a testament to their commitment to professional excellence.
