What Is the Cat C 3a Test?
For those new to the process, the Cat C 3a test focuses on off-road maneuvering skills, ensuring a driver can reverse, position, and handle a heavy rigid vehicle correctly before moving on to the final on-road element (3b). It’s a crucial step toward a full Cat C license, validating a driver’s confidence and ability with large vehicles. By passing with flying colors, Guy has proven he’s ready for the next stage of his HGV journey.
